Lately ...

I know, I haven't been posting at all lately. I've been busy and my mind has been on other things. One of the big things that's taking a lot of time is my physical fitness. To do anything in life, especially riding, one must be physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared for what's to come.
Many things can prepare someone to be fit to ride. Swimming and jogging are good cross-trainers for riding. Pilates will also have great benefit for a rider who needs to improve their seat (and core strength!). Yoga is always a good mental preparation. Stress can be released through yoga and other forms of meditation.
